The first bath was a bit traumatic for all involved...Chesley decided to go to the bathroom #1 while being bathed, then as we lifted her into the towel (which had been rushed into the kitchen from the laundry room where it was fluffing in the dryer-yes I'm pathetic) she pooped. She pooped on the floor, on her Daddy's shirt, on the freshly fluffed and warmed towel, and on the kitchen rug. Her next towel wasn't warmed before use- we wrapped her up asap and prayed she was done until we could get a diaper on her!
She is still not happy but is beginning to forgive us.

Why does it not surprise me the least bit that you retrieved a freshly laundered towel?? She is so beautiful! I really can't wait to meet her...are you coming home soon? i promise i won't bring Beckett-he thinks all babies are toys!!
Liz. LOVE catching up on the first week at home. I am dying to get my hands on that baby! Hang in there....there will be full nights of sleep ahead I promise!
